the last daughter is a feature documentary retelling the story of Wiradjuri woman Brenda Matthew's inspiring journey to unearth the truth about her past and reconcile the two sides of her family - https://www.thelastdaughter.co.... This is a fundraising event organised by JAM! and all proceeds will go to support the work SNAICC - National Voice for our Children - https://www.snaicc.org.au/. Brenda, and Gretchen Young from SNAICC, will attend the event for Q&A.

Gretchen Young (SNAICC)
Gretchen is an Gadigal/ Eora descendent from Redfern NSW and prior to locating to Melbourne, lived in Northern NSW, Bundjalung country, for many years.
Gretchen joined SNAICC in 2022 and is part of SNAICC’s leadership team as the National Program Manager – Connected Beginnings. This is a Federally-funded program, with SNAICC as the Community Partner, that aims to improve access to early childhood, maternal and child health, and family support services so Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children are safe, healthy and ready for school.
