Often described as the hotel buffet table of indie bands, My Giddy Aunt initially gives off notes of dreamy indie pop/folk. Upon further inspection however, it reveals itself to be a delicate baguette of sugary horn arrangements, perfectly marinated melodies and fresh tomato. ‘You Lost’ is the newest single hot off the my giddy press, a fun, groovy synth-filled track (unless you listen to the lyrics).

At Retreat Hotel on July 7, the band will be manifesting itself as a 6-piece ensemble, carrying with it an energetic sound that'll fill a niche you never knew existed, but now can't live without. For this tremendous occasion The Aunts knew that they needed the best, so they will be joined by local indie heartthrobs Dogs Don’t Kiss and September Barker.
