KANDER IS A MANCHESTER-BASED DJ Heavily influenced by his Manchester roots, you can feel the industrial nature of Kander’s hometown within his productions. Kander honed his sound with previous releases on labels such as Clergy, Obscure, Unfound and Märked. The EP, “RKR1 “, his debut release on Kobosil’s R-Label im-print in May 2021, demonstrates his ability to create forward-thinking electronic music whilst embracing the diversity of the UK’s rich musical legacy. Kander is a resident at “Hidden “Manchester, and his style stands out for its highly engaging and unlimited energy.
H ONEYSMACK (LIVE)
Dr David Haberfeld is Honeysmack the doctor of live Acid Techno. Labelled a maverick producer and performer who brings a punk-rock aesthetic to electronic music.
Honeysmack is recognized as someone who’s significantly contributed to Australia’s electronic dance music community for almost 3 decades. Equal parts performer, producer, prankster, punk and academic, but all electronic – Honeysmack’s reputation for challenging audiences by pushing the stylistic limitations of Techno is common throughout his work.
David’s work engages audiences with a liveliness that is totally improvised, unique and distinctly Honeysmack– best experienced live! Every performance and release are pure improvisations with an arsenal of drum machines and synths. This is LIVE Acid Techno performed and produced in the moment. His PhD in music composition focused on how he creates Acid Techno bangers in real-time!
