ZIGGY & LOU

50 YEARS

An Acoustic Celebration

The Thin White Ukes present

The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars

The classic album performed in its entirety + Bowie hits

The Spoils’ Sean Simmons and Bronwyn Henderson

Songs of Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground

David Bowie’s landmark glam masterpiece is 50 years old. The legend of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars is an interstellar omnisexual fable of stardom and excess, enshrined as one of the true classics of the rock era with ageless pop dramas including Ziggy Stardust, Starman, Five Years, Suffragette City and Rock’n’Roll Suicide

Join The Thin White Ukes, Melbourne’s most inventive keepers of the Bowie legacy, for a magical acoustic harmony reconstruction of the album with Ashley Davies on drums and a bonus smattering of Bowie hits as you’ve never heard them before.

Supported by renowned Velvet Underground aficionados Sean Simmons and Bronwyn Henderson (The Spoils) performing a selection of songs by Lou Reed, the rock’n’roll king of New York’s wild side, and one of Mr Bowie’s key musical inspirations.
