Coming out as LGBTIQ2A+ has long been a courageous and powerful act where the personal and public collide and art has often been used as a powerful tool for queer visibility.

Ahead of National Coming Out Day, the team of curators behind the upcoming Queer exhibition opening in December 2021 discuss works in the NGV Collection that record and highlight the diverse experiences of queer communities, from Ancient Greece to the present day.

Presented as part of LGBT History Month.

This talk will be delivered online. Registrations have now closed.

Ten minutes before the start time you can access the event here: www.ngv.vic.gov.au/whats-on/programs-events/coming-out-queer-art/
