'On Water Matters' is the first song on the new Jape Squad record, 'Bats Head Soup,' and is a phrase used repeatedly by Smo Co when Immigration Minister to dismiss all questions regarding assylum seeker arrivals saying "we don't report on-water matters".

On Saturday night May 21 Jape Squad play two sets at the Post Office Hotel, and being election night there will be banter through the sets.

It will be Jape Squad's second show since releasing Bats Head Soup in February 2022. From 9pm on election night Jape Squad will play two sets including tracks from Bats Head Soup amongst favourites from Jape Squad's earlier records and other live classics.
