Over the last decade, Melbourne ex-pat Alice Williams has brought her unique brand of guitar-based, lyrical folk-pop to stages across the country, opening for some of Australia's most respected artists (Liz Stringer, Lucie Thorne, Ben Salter) as well as performing all over Australia in Stringer and Thorne's touring bands.

Before heading off on the road again with Liz Stringer in March (keys, backing vocals), Alice will return to The Post Office for the first time in a good few years to deliver two sets of her own originals. Expect unusual rhythmic finger-picking and non-traditional song structures evoking the likes of Suzanne Vega, Kate Bush and PJ Harvey, a versatile voice ranging from deep and steady to lofty and breathy, and stories about romance, madness, money and weather.
